AFA Scotland covid-19 update 3: 28 April 2020
I hope you are staying well and finding ways of making the continuing situation tolerable at home and at work. Again, particular thanks to those who are out there providing direct services to vulnerable children and families. There has been a shift in discussions with practitioners and agencies over the last week, with people increasingly focussing on how to move from the immediate response mode, to an approach that reflects the likelihood of a prolonged period of disruption. We have included a few updates and resources, specifically relevant to work with looked after children and those living in kinship, foster and adoptive families, including information about how agencies are beginning to broaden the range of priorities in order to recognise the cumulative impact of deferring work with children and families.
