Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020

The Coronavirus (Scotland) Act 2020 was passed by the Scottish Parliament under emergency measures and became operational on 6 April 2020. It will not remain in place after 30 September 2021 and must be reviewed by Parliament every 6 months. These measures will be suspended or repealed at any time if it becomes clear that any provision is no longer necessary. Every two months, the Government will explain to Parliament why the measures and powers are still needed.  To download the paper, please click here
